Interns

Internships at Wilton Park

Wilton Park is recruiting for Intern positions. Interested candidates should send their CV and a covering letter to recruitment@wiltonpark.org.uk with the word ‘Intern’ in the subject line. The closing date for applications is 1700 on Friday 29 September.

Interviews will take place at our offices during mid-October so please indicate your availability.

We hope successful candidates will join us in mid to late November, subject to security clearance being achieved.

Waitress/Waiter in Food and Beverage department

We have vacancies for flexible, customer focused individuals with an eye for detail to join our food and beverage team. This varied role would suit people with experience in the hospitality industry who are used to offering a discreet service in a restaurant setting. A rewarding opportunity to develop skills in exceptional surroundings, for hardworking, customer focused individuals. This is a fixed term 1 year contract.

Purpose of post
To represent Wilton Park by providing a high quality service at mealtimes during conferences and Wiston House events. To provide support during sales events and pre-event meetings ensuring that guest requirements are handled in a professional, timely and constructive manner.

Casual operations assistants

We are looking for casual hospitality assistants aged 16 or over to start with immediate effect.

This is a great opportunity to learn various aspects of hospitality including working front of house at our reception desk, conference support, bar steward, waiter or kitchen assistant.

A variety of shifts are available during busy periods throughout the year.  Smart appearance and good communication skills are essential.

The hours will be variable including days, evenings and weekends.

Apprenticeship scheme

As an Investors in People accredited organisation, Wilton Park has long acknowledged the importance of building for the future and offering development to new talent by providing the opportunity for gaining practical skills through real workplace experience and achieving a work-based qualification.

Wilton Park and Wiston House have recently  been working in conjunction with Northbrook College and the Creative Process Apprenticeship scheme to offer a variety of apprenticeships at Wilton Park.

We currently have two apprentices: an Apprentice Chef working towards Level 3 Professional Cookery Diploma and a Digital Media Apprentice working towards Level 3 Certificate in Creative and Digital Media.
